Youth Justice Project Officer - 12 months - Palmerston

  • Exciting NEW position!
  • 12 month fixed term contract.
  • Palmerston location.

As the Youth Justice Project Officer you'll build strong links with key stakeholders to develop scope for youth justice diversionary programs in the Northern Territory! This is a new position where you will seeking opportunities to extend our service delivery while ensuring current program requirements are met. The successful applicant will have extensive experience working within youth case management services and have a demonstrated understanding of relevant frameworks and practices. In addition you will have a thorough understanding of transition issues as they relate to young people in particular young offenders.

To succeed in this position you will have enthusiasm, energy and excellent relationship building skills across a range of stakeholders and demonstrated experience in project management, ideally supported with relevant qualifications.

The successful applicant will be required to provide proof they have a Working with Children Clearance Notice, or apply for one if they do not already hold one.
